GUSTAV KLIMT
Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer I, 1907

A painting stolen by the Nazis during WW II. See the movie "Woman In Gold", the story of the painting's return to its rightful owner.
I have been a fan of Gustav Klimt for 40 years having found a book on his art in 1973. His "fauvist" style has influenced a number of my more decorative pieces.
